We are collaborating with the Montana Legal Services Association to create an Individual Development Account (IDA) program for battered/formerly battered women. The goal of this program will be to assist women who have been battered in developing assets for themselves, by matching savings accounts for specific purposes (we haven't determined purposes yet, but IDAs are usually used for down payments, education, or medical needs).
