The Montana Legal Services DV Unit provides civil legal representation to DV survivors throughout the state. However, there are only 4 FTE attorneys providing this service, which is seriously inadequate to meet the need. Via a contract with MCADSV, Montana Legal Services now has a technical assistance attorney who can provide our members with legal research and legal technical assistance.
