Projects and Partners

As stated on our home page, MCADSV is a statewide coalition of individuals and organizations working together to end domestic and sexual violence through advocacy, public education, public policy and program development. In furthering our goals, the Coalition, its members and staff are involved in a number of exciting projects and partnerships.

Services to Members
Since its inception, a key portion of the MCADSV mission has been to support the efforts of our members to offer professional, appropriate assistance to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence in their community. To that end, we provide our members with regular technical assistance, training, and opportunity to network with one another and share best practices. Below are some of the specifics:

We provide a quarterly packets of information to our members that include information about trainings/conferences, grants/funding, articles of interest, best practices, etc.

We hold two membership meetings annually. Each meeting includes time for Task Forces to meet as well as a training component.

We provide specialized trainings to our members in their communities. We provide members with access to state and national trainings at free or reduced cost.

We also provide technical assistance to members via the phone or e-mail, conducting research for them, or providing them with training/advocacy materials that we've developed or that have been developed elsewhere and purchased by MCADSV.

Resource Lists

The following resource lists are available for different prevention and intervention sectors and populations.  They are a compilation of materials available from staff, the MCADSV lending library and the internet.  They are by no means exhaustive lists of everything available in the field.  Rather they are resources that are at hand and available for you to borrow.  The lists can be downloaded and printed. (Please keep the logo on the lists if you distribute them to groups.  Remember only paid members can borrow from the library).  Please contact MCADSV's office manager, Candice, if you are interested.
